It didn't come preinstalled. They did it for me when they were switching out the RAM.

It's so massive.... I love it. I find I'm having to move my head back and forth to read the whole thing. That's my laptop to the left there.

    nice imac.
i got my first mac about 5 years ago, and now won't buy windows stuff. can't stand dealing with windows.
it helps alot to get a book on mac os - i got a book that's used for mac support tech training (the easiest level one) - and that gave me a big headstart when i first switched over. it is important to understand how the filesystem and os work, imho - helps you troubleshoot when you can't get something to work. all in all, the os is much more intuitive than windows.
    enjoy!

Macs are great! A month from now you'll never want to log into the windows side of bootcamp again. just have the patience to survive the first week or two. Just learning where all your commonly used tools, settings, and buttons are located in apples OSX can take a little while and frustrates allot of people. Then again your a reefer "ha" so patience shouldn't be a problem... Look into a program called parallels down the road, it allows you to run those must have windows programs smoothly without having to restart and use bootcamp.

It seems they set an administrative password at the store and I can't make any changes. Grrrrr.

I thought it would be cool..but guess what? Windows runs just as slow as it does on a PC and it can still get viruses. I need to get around to removing it. If that's even possible..need to start reading.

You can change the password by inserting the original disk.... but that's not working. I have to wait until they open up. Idiots.
