    Hey everyone,

I have a predator tank, and I thought it would be fun to see who else has one and what they keep in it. My idea is that each person post their tank inhabitants, tank size, and anything else they find interesting about their tank or predator tanks in general. Please no criticism or suggestions...this is just a thread to see what other folks are doing.

I'll start. I have a 120 gallon predator tank with current inhabitants:

    - Clown Tang
    - Snowflake Eel
    - Velvet Damsel
    - Huma Trigger

I am also looking at adding a Harlequin Tusk in the near future.

Probably the most fun I've had so far was watching my snowflake eel steal the food right out of the huma trigger's mouth during a feeding. The trigger wasn't too happy, but there wasn't much he could do about it since the eel hid quickly.

The biggest issue I've had is filtration (I know that's surprising right?). I've recently added a larger skimmer and I'm also running a canister filter. Together these have been helpful, but I think I'm going to add a media reactor (either GFO or carbon...or perhaps both) as well.

I have a 180 with a big honkin Queen Trigger and a Clown Tang. Meanest fish I have owned. I mean the tang. Also a 300 with a Goldheart Trigger, Pinktail Trigger, Blueline Trigger, Aussie Harlequin Tusk, Falco Hawk, Flame Hawk, Emperor Angel and Blueface Angel.

Filter socks, no overfeeding, and minimal light cycles keep the tanks algae free. The 300 is bare bottom, which also helps keep everything clean.

    Ok I will go next,

    German shepard
    3 Tomcats

Biggest challenges I face is keeping them in the aquarium they keep jumping out.

Also the cats are annoying and the water is just so messy.

Soon I will be adding snakes

*** Clearly this is a joke - no need to chase me for animal cruelty LOL

Cool...you don't see rhino filefish (Pseudalutarius nasicornis) very often...my first thought was "Rhinopias", but then considering what Renee and I keep, that's not much of a reach! ;)

i had a tank with a large golden puffer Goldie, a red scorpion, a niger trigger and huma huma.

We had a seperate octopus tank in the same room and somehow he got out (We had it secured and thought everything was completely covered but wasnt) He apparently decided to go fishing in the predator tank as I find the large scorpion had jumped out of the tank, Goldie very big and full, and a few tentacles of the octopus floating in the overflow of the tank. Not a good day!!! Funny, but not good
