    are they good?

do they produce and micro bubbles?

    are they noisey?

do they require any filter sponge etc or does it not need anything else just the unit.

I have one of these skimmers on my nano tank. It can be loud I don't like it. That because it is very fussy. One day it will skim great then breaks sypon and unless I pull the cups and tinker with it, it won't pull. So for me in a pinch with my nano it works ok. But would do anything more with it
