    It came from the new live rock. I have no idea what it is but it looks like he likes the new aquarium. can you help me find it's ID

    looks like an aiptasia... Nusience anemone and can spread quickly, sting corals, and reak havok! look for aiptasia on some other threads on how to get rid of it!

    If it is aiptasia then yes, it is pretty hard to tell from the pic but if you touch it in your tank does it shrivvel up? do a search on aiptasia on google and see if it looks like what u have.

    That doesn't look like aiptasia to me!!! Small tentacles and the body structure isn't symbolic with that of aiptasia!
    the only thing I don't know what kind it is!!! Their are so many species of anemones out their!!! I will see if I can determine what kind it is! Plus anemones don't have that kind of pigment in them. More a drab brown/tan due to zooxanthellae in their tissue!

    A good way to get rid of it is to inject it with a drop of lemon juice.
    This has worked for me, but you may want to double check.

    Looks like a cup coral to me. I've never seen a blue one before though.

    Well like I said it was hard to tell from the pic... Best guess I could come up woth due to the photo! I had an aiptasia that looked simmilar thats why my guess.
