Who makes the best MH bulbs?

    Thanks again everyone, Thanks Diver I see the bulb on page 11 and will consider this when I buy. The link that Matt had that showed how each bulb will look in my tank is invaluable, Great help. If your not careful you can end up with a blue tank and with the price I would have no choice but to run the bulb the 6 or 8000 hours till I need new ones. what about brand names? Has anyone tryed those MX or the Coralvue? I see quite a big price difference between brands. I guess you get what you pay for just like anything else. Why spend hundreds on equiptment and corals then skimp on the lights that provide life.

    i love the coralvue 250 watt 14K MH bulbs. there awsome, there the perfect color. not too blue but not too yellow. They add the perfect amount of blueness to your tank which is very pretty and awsome looking.

    Looking at these tests the Sun Aquatics bulb looks ok.
    30 bucks a bulb is pretty resonable compared to the others. Like less than 50% cost.
