The Definitions of the english word Weed.

Any plant that crowds out cultivated plants.

A species of plant considered harmful to the environment or regarded as a nuisance.

So, what happens when someone post with the word "reefer"?? That is slang as well for the other thing. I'm sure that lights up the search engines.. We are all adults here. I'm sure little Johnny, after he's done playing Grand Theft Auto, then doing some web surfing for adult pic & vids, is not going to get offended during his searching & sees the word weed on 3reef! Some people take their title waaaaaaaaay to serious at times...

 

If you have an issue with my decision to change the thread title, you can bring it up with Matt and the other mods. Until then, I suggest that you drop the subject.

 

I'm not going to even try and argue the point. Amcarrig made the correct decision. I would have done the exact same thing. The word reefer might have 2 meanings as well but it is one that is understood by people in this hobby.

 

I am actually glad somebody brought this up. I too have some GSP that are growing in places I don't want them to grow. I will keep the glue and epoxy idea in mind.

I'm sorry but if he put "weedS for sale" (with an S) I doubt anything would have happened to the topic. I can sorta see both sides but it's not like anything other than GSP was meant by it.

Yeah, but that was NOT the title of the thread. Even if the word weed hadn't been purposely capitalized, I would back Amcarrig in her decision. They even admitted they were purposely trying to draw attention.
