    i'd say the star polyps. zoa's just don't grow fast enough to counter... unless they happen to be a toxic variety that happens to be targeted at these stars... I suppose it could happen...

    I have, actually, 2 spots in my DT that i have a little kalkpaste mound to keep xenia in check. i wasn't sure if it would work.

    it has since turned rocky coloring but the xenia doesn't grow in this direction anymore. it seems to work well for me.
