I'm going to tech an educated guess and say pepermint and coral banded shrimp probably wouldn't be safe with a lion fish... (assuming he ever starts eating)
i assume crabs and snails would be ok though right?

looks like he's a Volitan Lionfish; got him free from our work tank cause he wasn't eating... Good news is i just got him to eat so there's at least some shred of hope for the lil guy. Oh and if anyones wondering he is pretty small right now...

its tough. obviously the small stuff gets eaten, and a lot of the large stuff could hurt the lion (iknow it may same obsurd with the spines and all). triggers, angels can get a little to rough with a lionfish

Ones that won't fit in his mouth and ones that won't attack him and bite his fins.

Lions love to eat fish, crustaceans and i think the rule for them is if they can get it in their mouth their going to eat it.... sort of like dog rules, if its on the floor its theirs.
