The spawn is almost here :) Fishy fishy fishy. I know some people can fish year round in the same weather. But not here. And not in alot of other places. Fishing in sub freezing doesn't go well.

Here's what I was able to grab tonight, and i'm going out tomorrow morning again to secure tomorrow's dinner :)

Wish I had a tank large enough to stick these things in. I'd keep them alive if I did.

Yeah that crappie was a nice one :) He's 12" exactly. He's about .75 lbs. The bass is 16 inches at around 2 pounds.

Honestly these are small/medium for where I was fishing. I've seen larger caught, but these I just what I got tonight. Bank fishing too. I'd be able to fill a cooler if I only had a boat ::) haha

Fishing in sub zero is AWESOME! Drill a couple holes, set up the shack and relax by the heater. Sometimes the water is clear enough you can watch the fish take your jig.

    Pretty decent catch btw.

We can't ice fish here cause we can't walk on the ice :p But that doesn't stop it from getting freakin' cold. Brrrrrr.

And yeah I'll post a pic of the combined catch after tomorrow :) I've heard those bass are in love with topwater out where I was. Muahahahahahaha
