Why 3reef is the best

I went to the lfs today just looking around and saw an arrow crab. Pretty cool looking. "oh yeah, theyre completely reef safe, yada, yada, yada..." claims the lfs employee. I tell him, "I am going to go home and do some research," before I take his word for it. Did a quick 5 minute search and found out some information that would be bothersome to all my other crabs, worms, feather dusters, and even fish. Quickly I decided... not for me. This is the reason I spend several hours a week reading old posts and gaining information, there is so much on here.

Thanks to the mods and all the reefers out htere that share their experiences wether good or not so good. :grinthumbs:

I make sure I take my iphone with me to any new LFS, that way I can check immediately...LOL! Now my trusted LFS is a different story, he is usually the one I go to with questions.

 

Most would just go in and buy on impulse. You done the right thing with waiting. Karma to ya!

 

I bought on impulse once and it didnt work out too well for the starfish. Told myself never again. Thanks for the Karma.

 

I look stuff up at the store on my blackberry if I'm unsure. Called BS on a few stores before. You did the right thing by researching

 

That's the way to do it! Sometimes you have to ask, but so often if you just spend some time searching on 3reef, you can get your answer fairly quickly.

Way to go on avoiding the impulse buy - saves all kinds of heartache ;D

 

I think thats the only reason to have a blackberry. When I get out of the house I dont want people to be able to reach me, and I dont want to hear the phone ring. I am definetly behind in the cell phone and technology world. I figure millions of people have lived without all these gadgets, so can I. ;D
