Why does GSP hate me?

    i have mine high in the tank under 6 bulb t-5s in relatively high flow. It grows like a monster. from the description of your placement, i doubt that is the cause.

    It's weird stuff, your misfortune is my nightmare, I can not kill it. No lights, no water changes or top off for 3 months and it still grew, I tried to kill it.

    I am pretty confident that you can not do it any further harm, so I would move it around. Find a spot leave it for up to 5 days, if no response move it again, as many times as you have to.

    Another thing you might want to consider is it looks like you have a touch of algae growing on the back side of that piece. Either dip it, wipe the algae off, but try to make sure no detritus or algae builds up.

    I moved it about 4 inches down, and I saw a few polyps today.

    Looks like we are somewhat on the right track! I do run carbon, and I have softies and LPS
