i waited it out for like a week and its still foggy. Why? might it be that my macro is dying? it has been without light for about a week because i was waiting on a new bulb to arrive for the refugium. Is it the algae on the rocks? cause there is no algae on the glass i clean up well in there. Any suggestions or ideas? its really really bothering me now. Please help. Water params are perfect...

could be a algae bloom a uv steralizer will get ride of that or it could be to much calcium in the water

If you think you over-dosed on Cal, you should test it. That will be one less factor to take into consideration. Do you have any filter pads or sponges? If so, when was the last time you cleaned them out? I would re-install the old bulb that you had in your refugium, if possible.

I have edited your thread title. Please make it a point to avoid using profanity when posting on 3Reef. Thanks and good luck with your tank.

Dirty pads will have that affect on the water.

I wash my poly-pads to a point, when they pass the point-of-no-return, i replace them. All depends on the condition of the pads.
