Why no tank of the month on 3reef?

I appreciate this site not having a TOTM simply because, my tank won't ever be TOTM I might win CFOTM (clown fish of the month) but that's my opinion because I love my clown.

 

This is the first "no" I can appreciate. Other people just wont come out in say they dont have a TOTM worthy tank instead its just a "bad idea". gotta love honesty. lol:clapping:

 

This is exactly the reason why I do not think it is a great idea. We are already judging tank worthiness ?

i voted that I would be okay witha TOTM but in all honesty its only because i love looking at ridiculous tanks and reading details about them. I can do that on this site but i have to search or just look at the hompage quite often. Im 100% fine with not having a TOTM but i do think a picture of the month would be cool. You could have different categories, like inverts, lps, sps, etc.. and have people enter as if it were a contest.

 

1.Are you guys kidding me? Where did you see me call out anyones tank or trash an answer?? I commended the poster for honesty. Which I dont believe is always the case So dont ride me for my opinion of that.

If I minded hearing no for an answer I would have left it out of my poll.

2. TOTM month would be an option you choose to be in or dont choose to be in. It shouldnt be a matter of you not wanting to get involved as weather it should become. You 3 say what you want, the poll results speak for themselve.

3. i will drop this subject, although I believed this would be a vote "yes" if the whole forum was polled but there is just to many crticisers to even discuss the topic. (which i should have the right to atleast discuss it without it being shot down by nay sayers)I would have loved for the idea to have been tossed around with ideas weather implmented or not. I dont feel somones idea should be taking in the context some of you took it.

Either way, my apoligies, Ive dropped the topic for now, only because Matt Rodgers who is the founder of 3 reef has told us where he stands. As did inwall. So I will drop it onbehalf of my respect for there final word.

 

You say that you are open to opinions but yet when people post ones that you dislike you lash back. Exactly proving our point why we don't want TOTM.

 

We don't even have a totm and it's allready turning into a big peeing contest.
