    My peppermint shrimp yes its peppermint ate my small frag of hammer. any body know why? help

    is it possible that your frag was dieing or dead and it ate it? just a thought.

    i second that comment....and on a side note, are you feeding the shrimp? it doesn't look like you have a lot going on in the tank yet, you might want to supplement some food if the behavior continues.

    could have been going down feed brine plus twice a week green seaweed and zoo mixed the other days

    Well 2x a week isnt that much... try direct feeding the pepermint if you can like 1 med-big flake per day, my shrimps come running to my hand when its feeding time :)

    i tend to feed my sexy shrimp a couple of formula 1 pellets every other day...and they still act hungry.

    i feed my guys either reef-prime or formula 2 :)

    My Peppermints swim upside down at feeding time, trying to get flake-lettes (flake fragments) from the surface of the water.
    Mine are so shy, I can't imagine them eating a live animal.
