    Zoa ID's!

Just curious as to what these zoanthids are actually called.

There is also a palythoa in the middle. More cyan in color.

These were blue in the lfs. Now look purple.

Ordered a little breeder box for a mini Refugium and threw in a ton of chaeto in the display just for now. I will add pics when I get it set up. Any ideas as for what the zoas are called?
Ill try to get better pics. They are either super purple or blue and look completely different in person. My diatoms seem to be staying... any advice? its been blooming for about 2 months. I also noticed coralline algae on the glass woohoo!

I am headed to the lfs later today and I was just wondering if I should get a easy to keep monti or something like that. All my levels are perfect and I feel I am able to keep everything well balanced. Most people would be concerned about salinity in a pico but this glass lid makes me top off about a cup every 2 days! So what are your thoughts?

Try a monti cap or something inexpensive.

Sure, go for it. I assume your lighting is enough?

Bought a nice sized piece of a green birdsnest for 15 bucks (about 2-3")
    I'm loving it so far!

It has been a while since I did an update so here it is! I have been lacking tank maintenance lately due to finals coming up. Once summer hits the tank will look great! I bought a nice sized frag of birds nest that started to stn from the bottom up a while back.

So I fragged it and got nice frags like this!

As you can see it has been growing nicely ever since!

There has also been these diatoms/brown hair algae stuff that keeps growing on my glass.

I also stopped at petco, rescuing a baby yellow clown goby. He hasn't eaten in 2 weeks but looks healthy??? Must be munching on pods.

That is everything so far. I will start adding/posting more once summer starts
