Wierd worm looking things all over my rock

    So I have noticed these wierd worm looking things popping up all over my live rock. But I have never actually seen any worms, just the pods sticking off the rock, and they are red. What are they and should I be worried?

    wow, that's an explosion of em!

    I think they look like vermetids. Their mucus strings have been said to annoy corals, but not kill them.

    as I would like to call them vermented dog poo. but they will do no harm and are a great cleaner
