Should I be concerned? I have tried pellets and brine shrimp and he shows no interest in either. I have had him for two weeks. His underside appears to be concaving upward, almost as if he is anemic.

Other than that, he appears and acts healthy.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
    I would be concerned.

    Might try some garlic.

An image always helps, could be a deformity, malnutrition resulting from internal parasites.

At 2 weeks a healthy clowns should be eating enthusiastically. Your description is cause for concern in my book.

+1, try to soak the food in garlic, or add some microbe lift herbtana to the tank, that will get anything eating! Good luck.

Call the LFS you bought it from and see what it ate there, if it did!

I'll try and snap a picture in the am. I went through an ich outbreak last week, fyi. I've seen him releasing excrement on two separate occasions, but have never seen him feed. He attacked a pellet or two a few days ago, but didn't eat them.

I added a lot of garlic (2 teaspoons of juice from a jar) to my tank during the ich outbreak.

If he's pooing, he's eating! But if its long white stringy poo, it can be a parasite!

Try to soak the food in it instead!

The pellets contain garlic. when soaked, they sink immediately.
