It is a dry heat, yeah right !
If it were me I would not buy wild caught in the future.

Aquacultured clowns are a lot hardier IME. Wild clowns seems to have a lot of Brookynella and less resistant to Marine Ich, and Amylodinium.

    Marine Fish Diseases and Parasites

As already stated I would also go to a different source in the future to get the clowns.

    Good luck with the clown.

I'm sad to report that the clown passed yesterday before I got home from work with the medication and medical tank. He was no where to be found so I can only assume that he was consumed by a bristle worm.

I can attest to that. My first clown (3 years ago) went through some rough tank conditions and survived. I went with the wild pair to enhance my chance at getting them hosted.

I might purchase a damsel or chromis in the coming weeks before paying $15-$20 for a clown again.

I have two sebae clowns, got them very young. The bigger one is definatly the female and she chases the other around endlessly, won't even let him go to the surface to eat. He is very skinny so I put him in a incubator tank like the one you use for guppies. I fed him and he ate like there ws no tomarrow. Also I would try to crush the pellets at first. good luck
