Soak the Achilles food in garlic to entice him to eat. Watch feeding a bunch as you will throw your tank out of wack.

You know me guys i'm totally against over feeding, but i'm doing my best to keep food offered to the fish as we speak even.

The Achilles looks great , been pecking constantly at the rocks, glass, etc.
and still look healthy and colors look great , but i know that it cannot surrive on meerly little pieces on the rock.

It's gonna have to eat , or he will begin to decline on me, im gonna stop off at LFS tomorrow and buy some other type of foods , in hopes he will begin to eat somthing of substance.

If he is picking at the rock then he is getting food. That is what they do in the wild, God doesn't drop flakes to them they pick algae off the rocks. I think he will be ok.

If he won't eat what you're feeding everything else in the tank, try some live food. Maybe live mysis shrimp or brine shrimp, just to entice him to eat.
Did you actually see the achilles tang eat at the LFS before you purchased it?
What was the LFS feeding it?

Well i know that , lol but we all know he came in from the wild, there known for breaking out in ich ( but he hasint ) looks like i chose a great specimen.
But Ive seen to many tangs wither away from starvation , ( slow death ).

While the relationship has improved between him and the sailfin. but there is still a little "bluffing" going on, but chasing the achilles has declined.

The pic above shows the sailfin ( lower anal ) fin with a cut ( guess who )..lol
Ol''' Achilles broke bad on him.. got tired of the bluffing i suppose.

GOOD NEWS 11:45 PM "est". the Achilles is finaly feeding from the clip.
( dried sea weed ), It appears that offering that and lowering it to the bottom of the tank had inticed him to take some of it.
( that and watching the other fish feed, learn my example that its a food source ).

After thinking of that i lowered it down to the bottom and rear of tank , near the LR , he was using it as cover, so i figured the fish was still in a nervous, stressed stage after being bagged and tagged so many times in the last few weeks.

Bogie: while i did not try feeding it at the LFS / offer it any frozen foods, sea weed, etc.
I had watched it for round an hour and it did continue to forage in the holding tank with all the ( trade in ).

As per the LFS as it was marked , they marked the achilles "no holds" and "no love" given.
that means NO "discount" and NO holding for a few days.

had this fish been doing the nervous pacing thing up and down the length of the tank i would have never considered it ( it was not ).
It looked strong and very thick bodied and rich color was all there, so i knew he was just a recent capture and then shipped.

And apparently not beaten up to bad in shipping and not half starved already.

Well Good news continues to evolve thus far on the Achilles Tang , in the last couple of days, him and the sailfin apparently have become some what buddys ? lol.

Swimming along side each other with alomost 100% reduced agressive behaviour towards each other and have seen "shared feeding" on the same clip i use.

The Achilles while last in befor the sailfin was the "sub" he appears to be taking over or rather seemingly now "an equal" with the sailfin.
As time passes though i'm wondering if the Achilles will be more agressive / domanant towards the sailfin.

Funny though the smaller Hippo tang ( umm, bout 2 and a half inches long now ) hasint been bothered by either of the waring parties, It was the very first tang introduced as a meer baby.
