Ok, wait a minute.... I see Purple Up there. Aren't you the one who's always preaching to toss that stuff out? Adds iodine to the tank, blah, blah, blah....

Yes i do use "purple up" in the beginning to seed the rock with some aggregate thats in the bottle ,But i donnot use. continously

And to my knowledge bogie i have never ever said NOT to use or disaproved using "purple up".

And i do "condone" the use of iodine.
keep in mind using iodine can be dangourus and could cause severe problems with any reef system if not used wisely and TESTED for.

Nice tank fellow louisvillian, I was at aquatica reef yesterday and he had some good looking lr he had just takin from a tank he recently tore down if you are still looking for some. I took your advice a got a refractometer to while I was there. KArma to you

 

yea cool , im going out there tomorrow and see what else he has, i knew he was getting some in , nows the time.

I might end up with siome more nice LR Peeps, tomorrow ! lol .
