    My clown feeds his and my (We share it lol) BTA about every feeding. I have read that you should not overfeed and they feed mostly on light. Just wondering if it can be bad for my BTA. Also I have quit spot feeding it since I saw the clown feeding it.

    It is a dry heat, yeah right !
    I do not see an issue with it, especially since you stopped target feeding the BTA. Seems like it is all good.
