will a laser pointer kill coral??

    i dont know if this is the cause but i was playing around with a laser pointer the other day, and i shined it in my tank, the light hit my kenya tree coral. it has been droopy and small ever since. did i hurt it??

    Laser pointers are known to be harmful to the human eye. Who knows how this could affect the light-sensitive tissues of a coral... my guess is that it won't kill it, but it may irritate or confuse the light sensitive parts of the coral.
