That chart is not accurate IMO. I have seen perculas in LTAs. But there is never a garauntee about what anemone a clown will reside in. I have seen so many different types of clowns reside in anemones that the chart said would not happen. I think it is just a guide line. Now I would never recommend a condy for a clownfish.

Some will host some will not. The wild caught are more than likely to host. Tank raised clown's are a hit and miss kinda deal unless they were born in a tank with hosting parent's and an anemone.
    Good Luck

As has been said, some will host and some will not and in my experience what type of anemone it is makes no difference. Except when your talking about Condylactis which clowns do not host in, or at least I have never seen them do it.

If they are tank bred clowns one of the best ad easiest way's of getting them to host is to get a picture of a similar clown hosting in one and tape it to the tank near where the Anemone is at. I know someone who did this and within several hours the clown was attempting to get in to the Anemone and kept getting stung, but after a day or so it was able to swim right up on into the bugger and hang out.

Very true. But I have seen clarkii's host a condy. I had a pair host in a short tentacle mushroom. Clarkiis will host anything though. I've seen percs host zoas.

Its not Droid, it's me fishies.

I'm going to have to try this logic with the wife. Tape a picture of a woman handing a beer to a man next to my couch. ;);D

I have seen both true and false percs host just about anything, including feather duster worms... not sure what drives them to do it, as my clown doesn't host anything...

I actually had my 2 clarkiis host a condy, right before my porcupine puffer went awal and ate everyone in the tank. ( old Fish only)
