i woke up to find my candy canes in my zoas again, second time this has happened, i found my urchin where i had originally palced the candy cane so he must of knocked it off. I'm out of super glue and i cant get to the lfs until next weekend. I moved around the candy cane's once again, hopefully it's in a safe spot.

but should i be wrorried about a chemical warfare from the zoas and candy cane, or should things be ok?

Why do you need to go to the LFS to get superglue? Just buy the gel stuff. I don't think you have anything to worry about w/ chemical warfare. Maybe you can put them in the sand as a temporary home.

ok i wasnt to sure cause i heard of some corals stinging and touching other corals and then they release toxins and stuff like that so i didnt know if that would happen between these two

when i got my first corals i had asked the LFS what they suggested on usuing to glue down the corals and they had a brand of super glue gel which really was a PITA to deal with but now im thinking i wanting to try epoxy instead

sandbed might be another opthion for now

Agree. Any cyanoacrylite super glue gel works. Loktite is what I use. $2.99 at HomeDepot.:)

reef exopy putty or super glue gel are only types of glue i would use in reef tank. I got rid of my urchins just because they move rocks and knock corals over alot. might think about trading the urchin in if your not in love with it.. ::)

with the gel i use about a pea sized or bigger glob, and you have about 3-5 seconds once it hit the water to get it in place on your existing LR, and let it sit for 30-60 seconds.. I usally turn PH off during this..

you could always super glue the urchin in place. that way he'll never move again.. jk
