Try live black or blood worms. Clean the water by running them in tap water and add a drop of garlic on top of the ones you add. When you add them in saltwater they will spasm and should tempt the butterfly.

With this you should be able to train the fish that "you" + garlic smell = feeding time. Begin mixing in mysis and brine and soon you should be able to wean him onto just prepared foods.

Nemo it's hard to say' every one ive known have never been able to keep a copperband butterfly alive for too long'
especialy in a tank of your size.
Theres just not enough there in the tank by witch it can survive for very long.
I fear the worst for you on this one.
I do know they do nibble at apataisa as well ,

Ive always been to scared to try one , but good luck with the butterfly
    i hope it makes it.

May neptune be with you !

They are freshwater, ask your LFS if they carry them. Search on how to properly clean so you do not risk adding pollutants to your tank.

From what I have heard those fish are sensitive feeders. I heard you can take your socks off and shake the dead tissue off your feet into the water and they eat it for some reason.
