kimbo winning you mean. he's a money maker and a ratings getter. do you think they would let him lose at the beginning of the season?

Dana White just did a big interview where he talked about that. He stated the only part of the show that is scripted is in the beginning when he welcomes everyone to the show. He was talking about how that makes the show intersting. States they don't stage the fights he admitted yeah he would like to have Kimbo around longer....but he has no control over it.

Agreed with above .. from what I've seen he's no where near Lesnars league.

I'm joining in late, I'm not on his side or against him, he doesn't have a good ground game but it looks like he's got nice punches, and to those who say he would get killed by brock lesnar, didn't everyone say brock was just an actor and couldn't fight in mma...

Dana also said that kimbo is horrible and the only way he would make it in the UFC would be to win the UF. Even if he loses this it doesnt matter bc dana already signed him to a two fight contract, and when he loses both those he will get cut

First of all nobody who does MMA would last in a real boxing match against a real boxer. Kimbos boxing skills are not that good either. I think OP is on the right track but he may not be as aweful as he says. Kimbo doesn't seem to be a good athlete. Not the best coordination. I think though, like alot of you have said, there are things in MMA you can learn. I'd like to see if he has learned something and known how to fight smart now
