My fuge has caused micro bubbles; I’ve tried filter socks, and sponges, nothing works. I don’t have a lot of them, just a few; will it hurt my fish, or coral?

No. Your livestock will be fine. I am curious as to why the filter sock didn't work, what size did you get?

It wasn’t specifically a filter sock.
I just attached 2 regular socks to the return, which I would think should still do the job (the kind you where on your feet)
It got most of them out, but I didn’t know if I should turn off my fuge until I got them all out, or if a few wouldn’t hurt anything, I wouldn’t worry about it.

If you an attach a 100 or 200 micron filter sock to the return, that should stop the bubbles. You can also add baffles to your sump to make a bubble trap, but that will involve taking down your sump for a few days.

I hope you didn't just poison your whole tank! At the very least you run the risk of adding residual phosphates from the laundry detergent those socks where washed in. And if they were new out of the package they probably had very high levels of formaldahide in them.

We wash socks in low-level bleach. And I hand washed them in hot water, before I put them in my tank

Where can I get a filter sock?

No sponges. Just fish, a few coral, and soon an anemone.

I suspect the flow out the fuge may be too strong. Try slowing it down and see if it stops. It'll take a couple minutes. Normally putting a fine sponge right @ the outlet should grab all the bubbles.
