I've placed an order on reefbreeders for my new par38 bulb. Unfortunately I had to sell my current fixture and shipped it today. I have 2 zoas and a colony of pink star polyps. I get some light in my room but none directly on the tank. How long will they survive?

But with that said did you get a ship date from Reefbreeders?

If it doesn't show up soon, you could always just grab a T5 off of Craigslist for the time being, then just resell it once you are done using it as a temp light source.

I have a 24inch t5 4bulb. I'm just afraid it will add even more stress changing lights.

Would it hurt to add it?

The alternative of leaving them without lights for several days and then adding an LED fixture seems like it would cause more stress IMO.
