get some chromises. go to a reputable local fish store, and let them suggest some CHEAP fish, for you to start cycling your tank with.

stay with the CHEAP fish for at least 3 months. if there is anything i've learned it is PATIENCE. the hard way, i might add. add ALL your live rock, or as much as you can afford. this way you can get your eco-system established while minimal fish are in the tank. the chromises can survive armageddon! in the long run, you will be much happier for having saved the money, and heartache, of losing fish.

    good luck!!

The banggai cardinal is a great choice for a new or established tank. They're interesting to watch, eat voraciously, and are very community oriented fish. They're as pacifistic as you can get. I bought a pair when I went reef, and they're great fish.

mated pair of false perc clowns! they are tank raised and therefor already adapted to tank life (i.e. less stress!). Very personable and funny to watch. If you get a pair of juveniles they will become a mated pair by changing sex (the larger one being the female). Very peaceful and reef compatible

    VERY HARDY

Hey everyone just an update on my new fish! I really appreciate all of the suggestions, they really gave me a lot of ideas, but I happened across a very cool/cute fish and had to get him. It is a decorated rabbit fish, and hes only about 2 inches long so I just had to get him! I 'll post pics soon
