I moved my anthelia to my skimmer overflow cup so it can't spread anymore. Hurray me!

But I have some lingering in the original location. I cleared this location for a Hammer I plan on putting there tomorrow.

Do you think the sweeper tentacles of the Hammer will kill off any remaining Anthelia it reaches?

    Hoping so.

Not the best picture... phone... but this is what that ended up looking like.

What is this stuff really? More than I expected ended up working up into the flow of the tank like a small CA storm. A little landed in my PTHammer and on a Blasto. It isn't going to hurt anything not smothered is it? The Hammer seemed to start sliming it off immediately.

Edit - I just couldn't keep it LIT in there stoudt! ;)

thanks for the tip... I've never messed with kalkwasser either. so I don't really know...

An update a few minutes later. The PTHammer seems to have slimed all traces of this stuff off it. However, those tentacles look, well burnt. Like it burned the purple hammer tip off the tentacle. Ugh. Hope it recovers well. It's just one small little area, but still.

I think it will be fine and if it ends up keeping that Anthelia off, it'll have been worth it!

Pickling lime is kalkwasser. There is no difference between them.
