    Yea, i think that should work great! All of that will grow very quickly so chaeto is not mandatory. Pretty much any benificial algae will do in a refug!

    personally, I'd stick with the chaeto for a fuge. I believe both those algaes, halimeda and shaving brush use up your calcium, and dont have the nutrient export properties that chaeto does. Chaeto helps remove nutrients and thus helps with phosphate and nitrate problems, once again, I believe alot better than those. Plus, it seems to house and grow pods better;)

    Most packs of chaeto you get from anywhere are gonna have alot of pods in them, be it from ebay, reefcleaners, reefs2go, etc
