Well after letting the chiller run for several days in a bucket on my patio, it developed a leak. Don't know where yet because I haven't had a chance to take the shroud off but I'm sure it won't be too big of a deal because its not a huge leak and I think it's just water. So fingers crossed.

Is it possible (since if I remember right you said you were running it outside) that the small "leak" is actually just condensation from the chiller working and the warm CA air creating condensation on the pump as it hits the cold water lines/pump.... appearing to be a small leak??

That is entirely possible! I really hope that is it. It didn't seem to leak but I don't know, less than a gallon in a few days. If I can get to it I will pull the shroud off and let it run. Right now the power is off to the unit but water is still running through the chiller and there is no water, no leaks or anything.
Thanks Chris. I didn't know if they could have condensation. I want to learn more about it before I even think of hooking it to the tank.

If the chiller is not on (chilling) and the "leak" has stopped I would guess that the leak you thought you saw was actually condensation caused by that nice warm air hitting the cold condenser/water lines inside the unit. Likely this shouldn't be a problem inside provided the house doesn't get to warm but I would keep an eye on it if it does prove to be the cause.

I agree with you and I hope this is the case. The chiller will actually be houses outside. In the same spot. If this is the problem then I will have to build something for it to sit on, drip pan and also have already planned to have it in a enclosed box that I have not built yet. (More like a mini shed with plenty of vent rooms to breathe)
When I did feel the leak/ water, it didn't feel like a cooling fluid. So thats a good thing. So it has to be the condensation. I am going to open it up here in a few minutes.

Looking good Will- sounds like you'll get the chiller worked out too.

those frags were: A Birds of Paradise; and a green polyped BN. - don't really know the name of t he green one, but the mother colony is on a ORA plug. Don't know if it was just put there, or it's from there. I think I saw something on their site about a bright green, or neon green BN though.

Thanks Todd. They definitely are beautiful. Their growing nicely.

Just traded a mushroom rock and my small candy cane with 8 heads for a green pocillapora colony.
The colony is a little bigger than a softball. It didn't fit in a 48oz Tupperware container. Definitely a cool piece.
It's acclimating now and then I'll dip it and get it in the tank.
    Pics to follow soon.

The pocillapora is in the dt. Within minutes I had full PE. This thing is big. Don't know I this is the final spot for it but it sure is a nice add. Especially for some mushrooms and candy canes.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
That is some great coloration to the Pocillpora.

When the leathers slough off their waxy coating it might be an issue for the sps being as it's so close, but it does look nice in that spot.
