This build thread is kind of like a build thread in fast forward. Well at least to a certain point.
Here is my pair of Blue Jaws, they are so awesome, beautiful fish for sure.
My Overflow with 2 Hoffer Gurgle Buster. You can see on the piping to the left it gets split and runs to the Fuge with a ball valve to regulate the flow. The right piping gets split to another ball valve and is set up to run a reactor. This will be a future upgrade when I know what I want to do.
Sump all set up and finally running
My G2 in sump and skimming, you cant really see it but I made a holder for my heaters, at this point I still had 2 heaters in the tank and once I got the sump going I removed one and put it in the sump. I wanted to make sure that the heater in the sump was going to get enough flow that it would still keep the temp up.

you have triggers with your corals I thought that was a no go. Do they only eat sps?

Blue Jaws are one of the only reef safe triggers. (I use reef-safe very loosly. I do not have or plan on having any clams and all other shrimp and inverts were added first.) I did a lot of research. I added them last as I wanted everything established before they were in. Everybody has their own expeirence with triggers, I have only had good with Blue Jaws, I monitor closely and IF there is ever a problem they will receive a quick eviction notice.

Hey everyone, it's been a few months since my last update. I will fill you in on the progress. Since my last update I have lost both my triggers. The male took out the female and the male blue jaw just disappeared one day. I think he died and became a clean up crew meal. Pistol shrimp and others. I lost my black ocellaris clown, she jumped out of the smallest opening. It was a 1" x 1" opening where my plumbing came back into the tank. Since then I have completely sealed the top with no opening for anyone to escape.
The good news is, my purple tang and blue tang are doing great. Eating great and real happy.
I made a DIY phosban reactor(will post photos later) I plumbed in a manifold to run 2 reactors and a chiller.
I acquired a chiller from a local reefer(aqua medic Titan 500) it is not up and running yet but I plan to plumb it in a have it running by summer. It will have to be plumbed through my wall and it will be outside.
I have added some cheato to my fuge and that seems to be doing pretty good.
My DIY phosban reactor is up and running and is working great. I have been battling with cyano for the past couple months and I think I am finally gaining some ground on it.
That's about it for right now. Thanks for checking in.

This pic is actually not the most up to date. I have moved a few things around but this is a good idea of what I am working with.

You did a good job on that reactor. I don't have a pic but I made one out of my old sea clone skimmer. My wife mentioned it when I started talking about a quarantien tank... I quickly cut it up slapped a few fittings together and said guess ill need a new skimmer :)

I would like to see the pic. That's what I intend to do with my old se clone for my carbon reactor. Lol, any reason you can justify getting new equipment with the misses.
