Thanks Cheryl. I will help an eye on it. The pic doesn't really do it justice as its not as close as the pic makes it seem. But none the less I will keep my eye out.
Thanks for the tip. The coloration on it is great, thank you. I really like this piece.

Thanks OFK! Really does have good coloration.

Well a buddy of mine moved his rainbow milli around and broke off a piece and he mounted it on rubble and have it to me. Just got it in the tank.
It's only about 3/4" but they gotta start somewhere. The pic doesn't really show how colorful it is but it's really nice.
    Today's been a good day I'd say.

Nice new additions Will! As far as the pocci goes, I wouldn't worry about the leathers it can hold its own pretty good and is quite capable of stinging weaker corals with its swaying polyps. It will also drop little "starters" so if you see it popping up in places you don't want it react quickly by getting it out, or on a plug ;)

That rainbow mille might have some good trade potential in the future when it grows out ;) Quite honestly, I love the little 3/4-1" pieces personally. Sure, they may take some time to grow out but it is incredibly rewarding to be able to look at the tank and say "I grew that out from a tiny little piece into this beautiful colony!". Like you said tho, gotta start somewhere, and hey can't beat the price right :)

Thanks Chris! Yea I'm pretty happy with the way things are going lately. I've got good growth, I'm getting new corals and learning a lot in the process. Going sps is a whole different beast. Crazy. But it's awesome. I love watching things grow.
The little 3/4" frags are fun. They can go almost anywhere. And there so cute too. Lol.

The biggest (and really only IMO) downside to small frags, they are easy to lose. A fish bumps them, snail knocks it off the rock etc and it may end up gone forever.... or you break down a section of rock for a tiny frag lol

Lol yes I hear you. I need all the frags I can get so I'll tear it up. Did it twice for the star polyp frag. I'm sure it would have grown just fine behind the rock structure too.
Sometimes I think the hermits do it on purpose.
I need to do a wc here real soon. Been about 2 weeks and I normally do them weekly. Maybe I'll make water tonight and wc tomorrow.
I am also going to post a couple colonies of my hammer locally to trade for some sps. Trying to thin out the Lps and softy and add more sps.
Man these sps have really consumed me. That's all I want right now. But still trying to take it slow.

Yeah the higher end stuff I do tear it up/ move things, but some of the other things I think about it and then decide the space would be better used with something else LOL. I have been on a big kick of keeping my hands out of the tank as much as possible with this tank and I have noticed things seem to do alot better and I am getting great growth compared to when I would always move things around.

Last night I did a moved the right side rocks around a little to make room to move the big leather over more toward the side to make room for the frags and new pieces that I have been getting and plan to get. I also did my wc. Man the coralline is a pita to clean when you don't keep up with it.
Here is a panorama shot of the tank. Let me know what you think of the scape. It's not all new but the right is different.

Looks good Will. Could you possible move the large red LPS at the bottom below the green leather slowly towards the front of the tank more into that open area on the front right? Just an idea :)

I can, been trying for a while actually. It prefers the shaded areas. Every time it is out from under a shaded area it isn't as full as it is when it's in a shaded area.
But I would like to get it toward the center more. Thanks for the tip. I know it kinda looks out of place over there but he's happy I guess.
I really like the big green leather more toward the right. It's really full and since there is an upward flow right there it's like it's being pulled up. Better than the floppy plate look it had.

new scape looks great! It looks less crowded and more spacious!
