So as if yesterday I switched over to instant Ocean from Reef Crystals. My parameters were all out of wack and I believe it to be because of RC. Ca really high 550, alk low 4.8 and magnesium 1500+. I did a pretty decent wc last night and my corals are happy. I am continuing to monitor the parameters and keep an eye on them. I was doing wc every 10 days but depending on parameters going to go back to every 5-7 days. Now that I'm back to reg IO I'm sure ill have to start doing soon.

Just wanted to post a FTS. Everything is doing better and on the rebound from some messed up parameters. Leathers are happier and PE is great.

Thanks Todd. Yea it's getting there. Just going to let it grow out now.

    Thank you OFK. I try.

From what I remember, we got this tank and stand for $200. Both were not in the best shape. My suggestions are to check Craigslist or your local reef forum for others selling their tank. That's what I did. I bought a 40g and did my diy sump and other equipment was also used local reefers equipment. You would have to get a list of everything your going to need and then price it out. If you have more questions you should start your own build thread and others here would be more than happy to assist you with any questions you might have. Or pm me with other questions.

Just finished a couple racks for some local reefers. Been a while since I updated. Been pretty busy. Will update soon.

looking good! Are you building those as freebies or making some extra cash? I think you should charge if you're not.

Thanks OFK. Yea I am charging for them. Not a lot but enough to cover materials and a tiny bit for my time. I enjoy making them so its worth it to me.
Just a little bit of hobby money.
