It is a dry heat, yeah right !
How long was the existing clown alone? Boy I think my B/W would attempt to kill any new introduction but my tank is a tiny compared to yours.

I have often thought about getting a trio of dart fish, they would look great in a nano.

Funny in the last image the tang and clown are watching the clowns.

My female went carpet surfing about 3-4 months ago. I know after about 3 months the male without a female turn into a female. If a juvenile is introduced then the female might take to it. My clown took to the new guy almost immediately. Nipped at him a couple times but he was submissive. They were sleeping behind the same powerhead the same night. Love at first bite.
Yea everyone is getting along great though.
Just saw my daughter doing this. So funny.

Looks good Dan. What are the dimensions, doesn't look like a 6' 125g.

    Thanks Chris.
It's not a standard 125g. It's a custom built tank that was built for the previous owner. It's 60x19x25.

Last night I didn't update but I lost my female clown. She developed something. With the changes that were made and the new additions she got weak and developed something. She disappeared and has not appeared so my only thoughts are is that she didn't make it through the night and became cuc food. :(

Ok cool, those dimensions would be kind of neat. I like the not your normal tank kinda thing :)

That definitely sucks about losing the clown, sorry to hear that! The one crappy thing about adding new stuff (especially w/o a QT) is always putting the established fish we care about at risk. :( One thing that has been beneficial to me IMO is feeding NLS thera +A pellets. They have seemed to improve colors as well as immunity system in all my fish, and they have a slight trace of copper (low enough to be reef safe, yet beneficial) which helps fight diseases. Any idea what she caught?

Thanks, yea when my wife found it I was all about it. Love the dimensions.

Yea it did suck. I have had her since she was the male in my pair for about 4 years. Original female fatally went carpet surfing. NL is actually what I feed. I them that and frozen food. There had been a lot of changes to the tank, I added rock which changes the area where she hosted and then the new additions just made her weak. I really don't know what happened. She stopped eating and just stayed in the same area for the most part. She looked clean with no visible problems at all. The last night before I didn't see her anymore she seemed to have developed fin rot. It is weird because my water params are and have been spot on. No nitrate/ phosphate and everything is stable. Other than the fins I don't know if she had an internal parasite or something. Just really unfortunate and upsetting.

So I just wanted to update my thread because I'm not building much anymore. Yes if you read my profile my name is Will, diverdan was a nickname I got in dive school and that's when I started on 3reef. Haven't been called that in years since I worked with a real Dan after graduation.
    Here are some updated pics.
Everything is doing great, growth is great when I look at past pics. The new fixture has really made a difference and I love the hqi t5 combo. Hope you like the pics.
