Looks and sounds great Will, what ever you decide, I'm sure it will be good.

I think I'm also going to soon have a seperate frag tank soon when I get the 180 up.

Following so that I can learn some things. Can't wait to see the frags! I like the "lots of blues" for the lights idea.

Thanks Todd. I keep going back and forth with ideas but I think this afternoon I'll drill it. I just wanted to do another build but can't upgrade so this was the next best thing for me. Your 180g is going to be sweet.

Thanks Anya. As soon as I get get everything put together I am going to evaluate the color and see what I need as far as lighting. I know the mh will be enough but for suplimental lighting I too would like a more blue look.

I still have to clean the garage, build a stand (now that I have the tank) and build my sump. Having to go through sump ideas too.

Still leaning toward two 3/4" bottom corner drains and 1 3/4" return in the middle back glass. 2 stock and because I won't have the room for dursos.

Changed it up again, going with Bobs plan. 2 drains in one corner bottom and the return top opposite corner. Trying not to use so much real estate. Hoping to have the time after work today to drill it. Wish me luck.

Thanks OFK! I will hold that karma till I actually drill. I haven't yet. (Scared) lol. I'm actually Still planning, I want to do it right the first time and have it well thought out. Going to do 1 drain in opposite corners on bottom glass. I feel there Isn't enough room for 2 bulkheads in one corner.
Return right in the middli on back glass.
Picked up a stand today from a local reefer. It needs to be modified, it's just to small for the sump.
Actually thinking of doing desperate sump and refugium. Going to use 2 20g or a 20g and a 10 for the fuge.
I cleaned the garage yesterday so I could have more room to work. The next few days are going to be super busy with work so I won't have time to work on the tank. I am in no rush. Just going to do it slow for the first time ever and not rush.
Thanks for the help and positive feedback everyone.

It is drilled! Thanks for the karma OFK!
It went quicker and smoother than I was hoping. Stoked. Now I have to get going on a stand. I don't like the one I picked up yesterday. It's too short and not big enough for a sump bigger than 10g. I want 2-20g so I have to make something bigger. Stand is the next step.

Brilliant!- (did I spell that right?- maybe I'm no so ....),

    Superb work/craftsmanship there Will!

Nice on the OF compartments also- most would just go with a standpipe as the intake on a frag tank- and no compartment first. To save alittle space- you could do that also if so inclined.

HOw are those frags from my DT do'in?
