    Thanks Anya. Its getting there.
I think I will leave the front open for a while while I get all the plumbing done and everything setup. Then after its up and running/ cycling, I will finish the front. Just my thoughts.

Well it's been a while since I posted. It's actually been a while since I was able to do work on the system.
    So here's the update:
Several weeks ago I picked up a little giant 2 mdqxsc return pump
Friday I picked up my old 80g tank that I sold a few months ago. (The guy was selling it and I wanted it back.)
I drilled the 80g tank on yesterday.
I am going to incorporate it into the system.

I also picked up a bio-fil 240 sump from the same guy. I also went and picked up most all of my plumbing parts
Today I set everything up, started to set up my plumbing. Plumbed in the return pump and well spent a few hrs plumbing. I still have to glues some of the fittings but its for the most part all together, Add a few baffles to the sump, fab up a filter sock rack.
I have some lr from a local that's already been cured and on hold till I'm ready. Also have a skimmer from him on hold as well.
I'm going to have this thing up and going by the end of the month.
Here are some pics. Hope you like.

Tonight I'm going to finish gluing all the plumbing. Then cut some acrylic baffles.

    Thanks OFK!

    Finally Wet!

Just the 20g frag tank. Filled with fresh water to leak check. Only one leak and it was a simple fix. I am going to wait a couple days before I get the 80g wet a well. Still need to level the tank.

I see a couple things that need to be addressed. I need to add my filter sock holder to suppress the sound of the water entering the sump. Need to extend the piping into the sump more so it will quiet down. The little giant 2 mdqxsc is quite a bit too much flow for just the 20g. Thinking it will be perfect with the 80g running as well. Here are just a few shots.

    Thanks Todd!

You know, I don't know. Any suggestions? Just had it and wanted to incorporate it. I guess just my garage tank. My get away.

Today was a long day. I picked up about 50 lbs of cure live rock and 30 lbs of dry rock, add that to my 30 lbs of dry rock and I have 110 lbs of live rock. The plumbing was completed yesterday. So I did a wc on m 125 and used the wc water to add to the system. The 20g is up and running. I unfortunately did not have enough salt to get the 80g running as well. It is filled and the sg is below 1.018. The rock is in the 20g and the sump. All the rock will be moved to the 80g once it is up and running with the 20g. I also picked up a skimmer, retrofit 2- 150w mh and 2- 65w PC from the same person. I plan to switch out the PC with t5s.
Here is a pic of the 20g now as it sits.
