Well as you guys know we have a pretty massive storm coming to Green Bay here pretty quick, and they snow amount has doubled overnight, so before this beast starts to throw snow, im running to the LFS to get some supplies in case of a power outage, anyone have any idea's what ill be needing, I have a small ac power converter already for my heater. The expected amount of snow is now 12"-18" of heavy snow

Before I got a generator (which was stolen right out of my garage but beside the point) I had moving blankets, a kerosene heater and one of those D cell powered air pumps used for keeping fishing minnows alive in a bucket.

We are accustomed to ice related power outages here in SD LOL.

When it would happen I would get the air pump set up, wrap the tank with the blankets to hold what heat it already had and get the heater going to keep the ambient temp. in the room up.

Im pretty sure there are some battery powered powerheads..That will help with gas exchange.

You can find the battery powered air pump in the sporting goods section of Walmart. They're around $7

Me 2 but i think we'll have some good winds, 50 mph + is expected, the only thing thats going to help us is im in a brand new neighbor hood, so the powerlines are brand new in my area, but im sure we are hooked into an older one somewhere.. :-/
