Winter Water Temp

    Hello all, well i was looking at my tank and the temp is pretty low, around 73ish...should i crank up the heater or is this normal since it is winter time?...idk

    You should strive to keep your temp as stable as possible!!between 76-83° F

    73°F is a little chilly................. John

    Bruce, Just for a little example. I was doing a water change and did not notice that my heater had decided go dead on me. During the course of the water change I dropped the tank temp about 10 degrees. Lost a big wad of xenia because of it. Keeping the tank a constant temp is now one of my high priority issuses.

    yup i know about all that good stuff...does anyone know if coral reefs have a winder cycle? i know that every winter my blenny changes color...but i dont know what the temp is like in all the reefs
