Wish Me Luck

Well Monday morning I start a co-op job in Decatur, AL for fall semester. I will be moving (..okay not really moving..just taking my guitar, laptop, and clothes..) up there Friday. I plan on coming back every other weekend, but for the weeks I am not at home I am leaving my tank to my roommate. We've been best friends since middle school and he knows how much this all means to me. I've been teaching him the basics for a few weeks. I have my tank just about maintenance free. Just installed a full ATO and ordered a big CuC that will be here tomorrow. So all he has to do is add the 2-part every morning, feed 1 cube of brine every 3 days, and clean the skimmer cup out every now and then. I have been giving him a "does this look good or bad?" quiz every few days. Usually in the mornings when the corals aren't opened up all the way. I actually think everything will be okay. My tank has been doing great these past couple of months. I still can't help but worry though! Never thought I'd get this attached to a tub of water! So anyway..anything else that y'all think I should mention to him or do..let me know!

It's the Secret again -- that's the third time in less than 12 hours....positive returns positive - Luna's right (gee, where i have heard that before?!?) ha ha

It might be a a decent idea to set your friend up with an account "just incase". But if there is no PC available -- hmm, if you wish, you can PM me and I will toss you my cell number with acceptable eastern time frames that it could be called with questions....If I can't help your friend out I can post for him. At least that way you have sufficient cover if you are not around...piece of mind, its a beautiful thing ! good luck with the new job !!

 

i'm really not too concerned about a catastrophe while i'm away..because i know with regular tending that won't happen..HE JUST BETTER FREAKIN' DO THE TENDING! lol i keep telling him.."it only takes fiivvee minutes a day..."
