    Hi Guys -

Elwolfe is finishing up the equipment for our 90 gallon, so it's time I start thinking about the stock list. It is standard size: 48wx18dx24h, with tons of equipment in the basement. See http://www.3reef.com/forums/show-off-your-fish-tanks/wolfe-90-build-thread-140210.html for more information about the equipment we are running.

Just wanted to start the discussion and make sure we are headed in the right direction. This will also be a mixed reef.

Already have the following in our Biocube and are thinking of moving all or some over to the 90:

    Royal Gramma
    Midas Blenny
    Six Line Wrasse

    Additions:

    2x Cleaner Shrimp
    Peppermint Shrimp
    1-spot Foxface
    3-4 Anthias or Chromis
Coral Beauty -or- Kole Yellow Eye Tang
Mated pair black ocellaris clowns, RBTA (added last)

Too much? Incompatibility? Any other suggestions on order of stocking? Enough space for a Kole Tang? Thoughts?

I'd love a flame hawkfish, but I hear they will eat shrimp...

Don't get the chromis. And go with the angel over the tang.

Yeah, I've heard chromis can be bad. We like the idea of a "SMALL" set of schooling fish... Do you have any experience with two or more anthias together? And since "badass" is how you roll, (and we like to roll badass as well), would you make any other recommendations? ;D

Chromis are just... chromis. Don't do it. That's really the only thing I can say about them. I've never had a tang before so I can't really say whether or not you should get one, but if you're going with dwarf angels then I'd get something more vibrant like a flame angel or a Potter's angel, though the latter is a little bit more pricy than the former.

Make sure your tank is established if you get a potters. Make sure it's eating too.

Ah, sorry about that, maybe NOT THE POTTER'S. :( I thought it was like any other dwarf angel and just took a glance at some information I found. Turns out that they can be difficult. Maybe a cherub or bicolor angel?

OOOH! Really like the flame angel and the bicolor angel. But they say the flame and bicolor angels will nip at stony and soft corals. Have you had any experience with them?

... Now that I look, they say that the coral beauty nips at corals too. I guess these angels may not be the best choice if we are doing mixed reef.

Any opinions on a small Kole Yellow Eye Tangs?

Gobies are pretty cute. Do they have an interesting personality? Are they the ones that sit at the bottom and sift through the sand?

Any dwarf angel has a possibility of nipping it corals; it's really one of those situations where it either does or it doesn't.
