People like what they like, I was agreeing with DSC because it sounded like he was being sarcastic. By the way I Iove Alternative too, my avatar is the White Stripes Album Cover from "Get behind me Satan". Jack White is a great musician in all of his bands and Meg is a great percussionist for the Stripes. The Stripes also happens to be one of the best bands of the 2000s in my opinion because of good vocals, creative lyrics, and amazing instrumentals. Their songs also don't have any cuss words besides hell, and the lyrics have a good meaning and some with a good morals. Unlike some so called artists who sing about getting high, drunk or "doing it" while saying the F or N word 50,000 times. But like I said it's a opinion and I'm pretty passionate about music.

That goes for rap and almost all of today's pop. I like the old school hip hop/rap when it was actually catchy and wasn't vulgar, some songs even had a good message about staying out of the crime lifestyle and not being violent or doing drugs. If I'm correct KRS One started the Stop the Violence movement after some fights (and maybe a death?) happened at some hip hop g
concerts. Too bad that only lasted through the 80s and early 90s.

I was actually wondering if music had an impact on them. I leave my tv on soft classical music at night. I wonder if it makes my fish smarter.

 

That is a interesting theory to see if music could make a fish smarter. I saw on shark week that death metal attracts sharks.
