    I bought a combo coral rock from my lfs. Everything was opened at the store. I got home aquamated it for 2hrs. It has been in my tank for like 50 hrs now, Some things have opened but a bulk of it has stayed closed. The corals are clove, glove, and star all polyps. Tank temp is fine and 0 am 0 no3 0 no4 ph is 8.4. This is my first coral. How long do they take to open usually. Dont have a test for akallinity.

    Did you acclimate them properly including lighting? They are hardy. Give it more time.

    Yea I havnt heard of aclimateing the light before. So no I didnt do that.:-/
