Well I was browsing craigslist earlier and I saw an add that said 70Gallon Aquarium...$100...i figured...eh what the heck I'll take a look..give the guy a call..he gives me directions to his house (which i realize is the "rich" part of town, which makes me optimistic) I get there...and this is sitting in the living room...needless to say..its at my house now, debating on whether to sell it for a nice profit or convert my 55G aggressive tank to a 70G aggressive tank and sell the 55G...decisions decisions

Man, that's an awesome steal. Def upgrade but keep the 55, just have two tanks :). What kind of equipment did it come with?

2 really huge like brand new freshy filters...a bunch of breeders...and a crap load of misc stuff...the guy also knew quite a bit about salt and assured me that it has been his since he had it and has never copper treated it...even though if i do keep it, it would be an aggressive with no corals or other inverts..nice thing is, is that it does have a glass top which would allow me to get an eel...

I'd keep both tanks...one for a reef and one FOWLR

That is a great idea to keep the 55g as a nrs tank. The only flaw in that logic is that for me at least, most not reef safe fish I like would be too big for a 55g.
