    Usually a few poly coats or something else that protects wood that's waterproof.

    My canopy is wood on my 125 and the inside is bare. I believe it is treated like a fence or deck.

    deck treatment works great, just make sure its 105% dry before bringing it near your tank

    Exactly lol. Treated lumber puts off good fumes freshly sprayed

    I would assume premade ones would be safe out of the factory. However with my canopy the hinges oxidized because I assume it we intended for fresh. Paint or true stainless steel would be a good idea.

    Some do and others dont. Depends on the manufacturer really. Our vendors can leave them bare or treat them for you, whatever you need basically.
