    I got a flower pot in with two worms on it, about 2-2.5 inches long, really skinny like the size of #.9 lead. They were a pale pinkish. Any thoughts? Pics maybe could not find any for sures on the linked sites

    hehe yea i know how you feel, i bought a bunch of LR and was arranging it in my tank and meanwhile while trying to stack them and ballance the rock i was holding one of those big friggin worms (looks like a green millipeed) crawled out of a hole in the rock and spead right accros the rock into another hole, :eek:

    hehe i dropped the rock and watched him slither fully into the rock, lol needless to say i wasnt eager to pick it up again and continue on my stacking ;)

    This is perfect! I just bought a zoa rock and saw these on it when I was feeding.

    Didn't know what they were so I posted on here, then I saw your post!

    Looks like pasta to me! :-X

    Great Link. But I have a problem.. When I moved my 29gal I found what looked to be a "Hermodice carunculata - This is the one species of fireworm that you do not want in your aquarium as it is a known predator of corals." As taken from the link that you provided. When I tried to remove him from the LR he went deep into a hole in the rock. It was big too. Should I try dipping that LR in RO water for a bit?

    Man, I didn't know there were that many worms that could be in the tank. I will not be touching any new live rock without gloves any more.. I read the article "The Large Worm Turns" and that was enough to not touch it again. lol

    If you know exactly where it is within the rock, I would very carefully dribble a bit of vinegar into its hole while trying to avoid spillage over the rock, once it is out, rinse that area with a bit of old tank water and return to the tank.

    The Echiura (third group of pics down on that site)

    I have one of the Echiura in my seahorse tank at the moment. Any idea if he's going to pose a problem, will leave him otherwise as he is quite interesting
