Worst way for a tank to meet it's end

and oh ya, I did have a pretty sweet 20gal terrarium that my older sister smashed while practicing ballet. Other than the obvious, it was a model triple pirouette.

-- When I was six and @ my grandma's, my sister (without thinking- she was 10) set my goldfish bowl on the stove. They boiled. I only found out that all of the goldfish dying at the same time was not old age 2 months ago.

-- The lighting in my 6gal mini reef caught flame. The water turned black. It all died.

-- My uncle's fuge was cracked by his dog. He was fed up with aquariums and gave his 25gal reef to me (he knew i had kept the 6gal and had some SW experience).

-- I decided to upgrade to a 55. When it only had liverock and sand, the light fell in while my hand was in it. It hurt... a lot. And the live rock/sand was no good.

-- I finally got the 55 up and running and went to upgrade to MH lighting. The cooling fan broke. There was wood on the corner of the tank that caught fire (my little sister set it there) from the heat. The the hanging equipment somehow broke from the fire. The lighting fell on the aquarium and melted the center brace. I had to et a new tank.

-- I got a 29gal cuttle tank in my room. The heater (that came from my uncle's tank 4years before) well. . . exploded, killing my cuttles. There were glass shards all over the tank and the sand was black in the area of where the heater was. My room smelled like metalic, burning rubber for a week (ish).

Despite what my juju might say, I have not killed any children. . . or anyone actually. I can't really think of what I could have done diferently (with out future sense) that would have made those not happen. Life goes on. Don't be paranoid; it's just an aquarium- (or maybe your house/family if fire is involved.) Aquariums are sopposed to be fun and worrying isn't fun. Take all the pecations you know might be a problem and enjoy.
