Another handy tip. A power cord that becomes detached from a pump in your sump is a GREAT way to get rid of a bryopsis and anthellia infestation. It's also a great way to get rid of a 1' long deresa clam.....just so you know

 

Only if the circuit is wired with a 10/2 wire You can;t just increase the breaker with out increasing the wire gage. Electrical is no hobby
14/2 romex for a max of 15 amp cir.
12/2 romex for a max of 20 amp.cir.
10/2 romex for a max. of a 30 amp. cir.

 

Always use a Titanium heater with a remote thermostat..Glass heaters suck..

 

That was the only tank with a glass heater, I just hadnt changed it out yet.

I freakin hate clam chowda. Besides, if you could have smelled the clam when I pulled it out, there's no way you would have wanted to eat it.

 

i wonder if that soup would taste like chicken or a rank tuna

I think you would call what I had gumbo, cause it was amix of all kinds of stuff cooked all together.
