    Hello Everyone im new to this forum i just started my 10 gallon saltwater tank crappy part is my friend told me he had a tank with a filter so i went and spent all my money on supplies didnt have much money im poor lol but i got some crushed coral about 2 pounds of live rock a heater a power head and a snail my buddy doesnt know what happened to the filter so im kind of stuck this is my first saltwater tank its about three days in the snail is still alive but i was wondering if any body had some unused equipment etc that they could part with i would really appreciate it i've been scrambling around my room trying to find stuff to sell to get stuff for it with no luck

    I don't have any extra equipment, but you could still cycle your tank while you are getting everything together. I would've probably done this prior to adding the snail. You could simply start the cycle by dropping in a few flakes of food for a couple of days. The cycle could take up to 6 weeks.
